A seminar on Halal Certification was held at the Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry, providing participants with information on Halal Certification processes and the international trade of Halal-certified products.

The seminar, aimed at members of the Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade’s Halal Accreditation Agency and the Kırıkkale Bakers, Chefs, and Kebab Makers Association. Attendees included KTSO General Secretary Ahmet Şerbetçioğlu, Halal Accreditation Department Head Erdem Başdemirci, Kırıkkale Trade Provincial Directorate Branch Manager Fahrettin Özata, Kırıkkale Bakers, Chefs, and Kebab Makers Association President Özgür Dönmez, Halal Accreditation Assistant Expert Ömer Faruk Gövercin, Chef Zafer Şahin, and Chamber members.

The seminar covered various topics including the international trade of Halal-certified products and services, the history and current status of Halal Certification, and the activities of the Halal Accreditation Agency. Additionally, participants were informed about Halal Economy Sectors, the global Halal market size, the economic benefits of Halal Certification, authorization, standards, processes, encountered issues, and legal regulations in Turkey.
