Turkey-Belarus-Azerbaijan partnership in Organized Industrial Zone was established with a $ 100 million investment cost of tractor factory (ATUB) opened by Agriculture and Forestry Minister Dr. Bekir Pakdemirli and Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor lyashenko.

Keskin Organized Industrial Zone, 15 thousand square meters of closed area with an investment fee of $ 100 million the factory opened by the Minister of Agriculture and Forest  Bekir Pakdemirli and Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor lyashenko. Tractors, tower cranes and heavy tonnage hydraulic press is planned to be produced in the factory and target is to produce 1,200 tractors per year. The factory is expected to provide positive contributions to employment and production, and parts will be provided on the Tbilisi-Kars railway.

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli participated in the opening that the investment carried out in Turkey-Belarus-Azerbaijan partnership, "There's mutual investments in both the Belarusian and Turkey also the largest investor in Belarus in Turkey. In this sense, we decided to monitor mutual investments and increase our trade. Although our trade is based on past years and 2014-2015, our trade has increased thanks to the close approaches of the two countries since 2016. In addition to trade, investments also increased. Here we visited the factory, which is a joint venture between Belarus and Azerbaijan, as well as the Tractor Factory and assembly department of our ministry, together with our Deputy Prime Minister and co-chairman. This is of course very promising about the future investments of the two countries. In this sense, we will continue to monitor investments. Our wish is to increase the relations between the two countries and to realize the necessary actions in order to increase the economic activities”.

Stating that the investment will have very positive effects in terms of economy and employment, Minister Pakdemirli said that the amount of investment will be increased by 10 million dollars in the first place but it will increase in the phases. It was extremely adequate for us because it was a start. They will make great contributions to employment, hundreds of people will be working. Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor lyashenko stated that the factory, which started with the assembly in the first phase, will reach a production capacity of 30 percent in 2 years. These are really good tractors that have been tested very well as a model. There will be models using 120 to 200 horsepower. As the Minister said, in the first phase, only the assembly is considered, but we are planning to realize 30 percent production here for the year. This will create a very serious workforce within 2 years. We also want to say that you will create new jobs. At the moment, Turkish workers and experts are taking necessary trainings for the production of this tractor. Over time, there will be a very nice production.
