In the TOBB Kırıkkale Women Entrepreneurs Committee meeting, it was decided to conduct company visits for the identification of geographically indicated products and the implementation of the "Our Business is Clean" project.

The monthly meeting of the TOBB Kırıkkale Women Entrepreneurs Committee Executive Board, chaired by Melek Sultan Tufan, took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s meeting room. One of the main agenda items discussed was the geographically indicated products initiative from the previous meeting. Tufan stated that visits would be made to the districts to identify products grown in Kırıkkale and its districts that could receive Geographical Indication status. She mentioned that the aim is to identify products that are associated with Kırıkkale due to their distinctive qualities, reputation, or other characteristics, and are involved in production or processing activities in the region.

Another key agenda item was the "Our Business is Clean" project, which was initiated under the leadership of TOBB, in collaboration with the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Committee, the Ministry of National Education Lifelong Learning General Directorate, and OPET. The project, already implemented in several provinces, aims to create hygiene-focused training programs for micro-enterprises in the service sector, ensuring clean, hygienic, and healthy services across Turkey. Tufan mentioned that visits would be made to firms in Kırıkkale to implement the project. The goal is to increase knowledge and awareness of cleanliness and hygiene programs among micro-business owners and employees in the food and beverage, accommodation, and transportation sectors, thereby making businesses safer and more hygienic.
