At the opening meeting of the Employment-Oriented Vocational Training Workshop, our Board Chairman Ahmet Varlı emphasized the need for qualified technicians in various sectors and highlighted the importance of vocational education.

Organized under the leadership of the Kırıkkale Provincial Directorate of National Education, in collaboration with our Chamber, Kırıkkale University, and leading industrial enterprises in the province, the Employment-Oriented Vocational and Technical Training Workshop was held. The opening ceremony, attended by Deputy Governor Mustafa Erkayıran, our Board Chairman Ahmet Varlı, provincial directors, and industrialists, featured a speech by Chairman Varlı, who addressed key issues facing the business world.

Varlı noted that the manufacturing industry faces three main issues: the need for qualified personnel, labor laws, and financing. He pointed out that in Turkey, where nearly 300 universities fail to meet expected quality standards, there is a widespread desire to obtain a university degree, yet many graduates struggle to join the workforce. He emphasized that the industry consistently needs well-trained and qualified personnel more than ever before. Varlı also mentioned that the Vocational Training Center established by the Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry last year has provided training in CNC and Welding to nearly 300 individuals, with this number expected to increase through ongoing courses.

Varlı stressed the importance of public and private sector collaboration in addressing sectoral issues through such initiatives and expressed his hope that the two-day workshop would be beneficial.
