Delice salt, which is ontained natural resource water, registered with geographical mark via our Chamber’s work. The application made by our chamber for the “Geographical Indication and Traditional Product” certificate to Delice salt was accepted by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.

Chairman of the Board of Director Ahmet Varlı, who has said that Delice salt is the third product which has geographical mark, said that Keskin Tava and Kılıçlar Onion have taken geographical mark earlier. With our Chamber effort, Delice salt will be known in the international market. As chamber, we applied in 2018 and finished all works about delice salt.

Varlı said that Delice Salt don’t include any additive and made from completely the salty water by evaporation. He has added that salt also exists in solution form and we export to 10 countries and this number will increase in the future because football clubs wants this for their sporty activity.

Delice salt includes high level magnesium, and it has been send Arsenal, which is popular football club, USA Rugby Clubs besides, South Korea, Belgium, Denmark, Russia, England, Germany, Austria and Sweden.

In the lıne with KTSO’s demand, work which executed by Kırıkkale University Scientific and Technological Application and Research, it was determined that Delice Salt complies with the criteria determined by the World Helath Organization, the Council of Europe and other organization and is rich in mineral. Besides, it was determined that Salt’s water form stopped the proliferation of ovarian cancer cells, especially after 72 hours of application.
