Making a statement about the foreign trade data of Kırıkkale in June, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ahmet Varlı said that the export volume doubled in 1 year.

Evaluating the export figures for the first 6 months of 2020 and 2021, TSO President Ahmet Varlı said that there was a 100% increase in the trade volume in June 2021 when compared to the same period of the previous year. Stating that 2 million 203 thousand dollars were exported in Kırıkkale in June 2021, Varlı stated that the exports in May increased by 136.70% compared to April, and the figures for the first 6 months of 2021 were twice the figures of the first 6 months of last year.

Pointing out that the sector that realized the most exports in Kırıkkale in June 2021 was the Defense and Aviation Industry, Varlı emphasized that the following sectors were Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Soil Products and Chemicals. Varlı also stated that the exports realized in the Defense Industry correspond to approximately 50% of the total export volume. According to Varlı's statements, the highest export from Kırıkkale was to Brazil. Following Brazil, Bulgaria and Syria were the countries we exported the most to.
