INVITATION TO A WEBINAR ON INDIVIDUAL INTERIM REGISTRATIONS UNDER KKDİK

Dear Members,

Our Union holds the institutional representation of the private sector within the consultation mechanisms established under the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, within the scope of the legislation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (KKDİK), and convened with the participation of other relevant institutions and organizations. In this context, it undertakes a coordinating role in conveying sectoral opinions and evaluations to policy-making and implementation processes.

As a result of the Chemicals Advisory Group Meetings—one of the aforementioned consultation mechanisms—established within the framework of the Procedures and Principles for the Implementation of the KKDİK Regulation, it has been allowed for interim registration processes to be carried out individually due to the difficulties encountered in determining a lead registrant, and the deadline has been set as September 30, 2026.

In this regard, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Environmental Management of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and our Union, a webinar is planned to be held on April 6, 2026, between 14:30–15:30, in order to share recent developments regarding individual interim registration processes under KKDİK and to provide information on implementation-related issues by the Chemicals Management Department.
