We Welcomed TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu in Kırıkkale

We had the honor of hosting M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), in our province. Accompanied by GTİ Chairman Arif Parmaksız and KGF Chairman Erdoğan Özegen, Hisarcıklıoğlu first attended the inauguration of the Keskin TOBB Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, a 24-classroom facility established in Keskin through TOBB initiatives and the efforts of our Chamber.

The opening ceremony, attended by KTSO Assembly Chairman Ömer Akçelik, KTSO Chairman Ahmet Varlı, and Assembly members, featured a speech by Hisarcıklıoğlu:
"We continue to invest in Turkey’s future. Today, we met with students at the Keskin TOBB Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. While students from Keskin Anatolian High School and Keskin Vocational High School temporarily study at this facility, we wish all students and teachers great success. We are excited and proud. We have equipped all 81 provinces with educational facilities. Through our '154 Schools in 154 Districts' project in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, we will provide a total of 307 educational facilities to our country and children. Our efforts are for the future of our nation and our children."

Following the Keskin inauguration, Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vocational Training Center in Yahşihan. KTSO Chairman Ahmet Varlı shared information about the center, which provides free training in CNC and welding, stating that 465 trainees have completed 52 courses so far, and that courses continue with plans to expand into other fields.

Later, Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Assembly members, Women Entrepreneurs and Young Entrepreneurs Council members, and Chamber staff at the KTSO service building. He expressed his deep connection with Kırıkkale, noting that the city is historically known for its factory chimneys rising in 1925, marking the Republic’s early industrial efforts. He added:
"Kırıkkale embodies Turkey’s determination to produce its own weapons. Today, it has become a rising hub for defense industry and energy in Anatolia."

During his visit, Hisarcıklıoğlu also toured the Kırıkkale Commodity Exchange and Kırıkkale Municipality before departing the province.
