KOSGEB SUPPORTS EXPLAINED

KOSGEB has updated its Entrepreneurship Support programs for newly established businesses. The details of the new support package were presented to members of the Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The updates to KOSGEB’s Business Start-Up Support and Business Development Support programs were explained to Chamber members during a meeting at the Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The presentation, delivered by KOSGEB expert Ömür Gümüşsoy with the participation of Chamber General Secretary Ahmet Şerbetçioğlu, provided information about the support available. For individual entrepreneurs, the support includes 10,000 TL for sole proprietorships and 20,000 TL for capital companies, along with personnel expense support. Details on the sectors eligible for the Business Start-Up Support for businesses aged 0-1 were also shared.

The meeting also covered the Business Development Support program. It was noted that businesses in manufacturing, telecommunications, computer programming, consulting, information services, and scientific research are eligible for these supports. The Business Development Support package, which covers businesses aged 0-3, includes up to 1.5 million TL in interest-free, 80% grant-based, repayable support over 36 months.

Support limits increase if the entrepreneur is young, female, disabled, a veteran, or a first-degree relative of a martyr. General Secretary Şerbetçioğlu emphasized that businesses in the newly supported sectors should take advantage of these supports. He also mentioned that the Chamber will continue to hold informational meetings to ensure members are aware of these opportunities, particularly to boost technological production.
