Job of journalist has important place interms of increasing social consciousness and to prioritize the public interest. I appreciate day of working journalist to the workers of the press sector, who are the eyes and ears of the people and working under difficult conditions, with the sincere feelings. Journalist is profession which is honour and carriying significant responsibilities. We appricate the journalist due to their labor in both mornings and evenings and their difficulties in their profession. Our Press has been developing from the past to the present, besides the written and visual dimension, their activity in the virtual area improve in per day and contributes our democracy developing. In this improvement, press workers has great share because of their devotedly working.

Press workers who take charges for our people’s awareness, peace, serenity and trust atmosphere, work with objective broadcast concept.  Despite they work under the difficult conditions, they works for freedom of information and contribute multivocality with this mission. At the same time, they take roles for functioning of democracy healty.  At the point where Kırıkkale has reached both economically and socially, the contribution of our press organizations as well as non-governmental organization is substantial. With the Great Leader Atatürk’s principle “press is joint voice of national”, I congratulation 10 January Working Journalist Day again to press who contınues their works with the framework of morality principle and great devotion, and I commemorate the press workers who passed away forever.
