CHANGE ABOUT THE PROTECTION OF TURKISH MONETARY VALUE

Dear members,

Within the Decision of Resolution Amending No 32 prepared for the Protection of the Value of Turkish Currency, except in cases determined by the Ministry of residents in Turkey themselves securities, real estate, renting, leasing, service and work can not enter into foreign exchange contracts with payment obligations and it is stated that the contracts which are already arranged in foreign currency should be amended by Turkish Lira within 30 days. In addition, according to the additional article added to the same decision, it was requested within 30 days from the date of entry into force of this decision that the agreed terms in foreign currency in terms of the aforementioned provisions shall be re-determined by the parties as Turkish Lira except in cases determined by the Ministry.

This decision, which was executed by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, entered into force upon the publication of the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2018 and numbered 30534.
