NETBİS User Guide

Dear Members,

According to the letter submitted to our Union by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, in line with the National Energy Plan published in 2022, it is aimed to reach a nuclear installed capacity of 7.2 GW by 2035 and approximately 20 GW by 2053.

Within this scope, it is planned to establish large-scale nuclear power plants with a capacity of approximately 5,000 MW each in Sinop and Thrace, and negotiations are ongoing with countries that possess the relevant technology. As part of these discussions, it is also planned to identify products that can be supplied domestically during the preliminary feasibility studies.

Furthermore, it is stated in the letter that the information to be collected from our companies will be utilized through the portal named “Nuclear Energy Supplier Information System (NETBİS)” (https://netbis.enerji.gov.tr), which has been established by the Ministry.
