Dear Memebers,

In the article, which was send by TOBB to our Chamber,  within the scope of the Regulation on Corformity Assessment Bodies and Notified Bodies prepared within the scope of the Product Safety and Technical Regulations Law numbered 7223, corformity assessment bodies are responsible for their activities within the scope of technical regulations regardless of whether there is an assignment or not, and are obliged to report the field where they operate.

Within the scope of aforementioned notification, bodies which carrying out conformity assessment activities in product groups, which is under the responsibility of Ministry of Trade, should give notice to the General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance immediately.
