SCHOOL FOOD APPROVAL PROCEDURE

Dear members,

The Communiqué on School Food, which entered into force by being published in the Official Gazette dated 22/10/2020 and numbered 31282; It determines and covers the school food approval requirements for prepackaged foods that will be offered directly to the student for sale / consumption in food establishments such as canteens, cafeterias, cafeterias, kiosks and tea shops, and the issues related to the school food logo to be used in these foods.

School Food Approval from the Ministry is mandatory for prepackaged foods until September 6, 2021. As of this date, foods that have not received school food approval cannot be placed on the market. School Food Approval Procedure for the work and operations to be done in this context is attached.
