Presidents of chambers and exchanges in the Central Anatolia Region came together at the meeting held via video conference chaired by TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Speaking at the meeting where the problems caused by the corona virus were discussed, Ahmet Varlı, Chairman of Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed the difficulties experienced in the use of Credit Guarantee Fund (KGF) supports. Stating that SMEs with low interest rates cannot benefit from the low-interest KGF supports provided to SMEs who are experiencing economic hard times due to the corona virus, Varlı said that this loan was made available to companies that are already in good condition before banks, and those who really need this support returned empty-handed from the banks on the grounds that the limit was exhausted.Pointing out that the loans given for businesses to survive during the difficult period are used as investments, Varlı demanded that the grievances inflicted on chamber members by banks be remedied.

Another issue that KTSO President Varlı conveyed to Hisarcıklıoğlu to resolve was the contractor report cards. Stating that there are some problems with the Contractor Scorecard, which allows building contractors to be registered and classified according to professional, technical and financial criteria and to carry out the constructions allowed only by the class they can meet the criteria, Hisarcıklıoğlu, who asked Varlı to convey the details to him personally, will forward the requests to the necessary ministries and He said he would be a follower.

Addressing the chamber presidents at the meeting, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they act as a bridge between the business world and the government, that they presented a 70-item proposal set to the government in the first place, and that most of them were implemented and continue to be passed. Drawing attention to the emergence of a new issue and distress every day, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “So let's keep in touch with our members without a break and keep collecting the problems and suggestions”.

Stating that they have started to talk about the normalization process, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “As TOBB, we contribute to the support packages prepared for the economy and now we contribute to the planning of the normalization process. Undoubtedly, we need to adjust the balance between health and livelihood. If we carry out the normalization process in a well-planned manner, I believe that we will overcome this process with the least damage. I hope we will leave these difficult days behind together, ”he said.
