On July 3, 1997, the big explosion at the MKE Ammunition Factory Spelling Facility took 2 lives, 2 of which were children, and caused major material damage and opened non-closure wounds. Today, 22 years of the explosion, one of the most painful events in the history of Kırıkkale, where tens of people were wounded, 40,000 houses were damaged, and the people spent 3 days outside the city. As the city, we experience this pain like the first day, once again, we wish mercy from Allah to our fellow citizens who lost their lives in the explosion.
